"Haute" Puzzle

Alcohol inks are fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol-based inks that by their nature are unpredictable because of their fluidity. Every single piece that the artist creates is an original that I can not duplicate. Consistently, the artist is working to create an image that resonates with the viewer on some level.

The artist process starts with a color concept - looking for inspiration in contrast and "POP". From there, the dance between my creative spirit and the inks begins. More often than not, the inks lead this dance. This journey in creating is an exploration of texture, depth and color intensity.
